Thanks to Christina and Anthony for showing Milo!

We love to go to the cat shows. Usually we go locally or not so locally and often we drive up to 8-9 hours to get to the show. Shows in USA usually mean that I take day off and Dasha and I splurge on shopping too!
Puyallup show however was different. I had no vacation left and Christina, Milo’s owner (Milo is Lillie’s and Rio’s son which is a show alter now and lived with Christina and Anthony in downtown Vancouver) also had to work until noon on Friday, so our start was late. We arrived to Puyallup tired and it was already late, so we decided that we need to go to grocery store to buy some meat for cats as well as easy dinner for three of us (of course, Dasha can not miss the show).
Passing by in the grocery store I found a bottle of champagne for 3.99$. Now, I tell you, we are from Canada, have you ever seen a bottle of champagne for 3.99$? I did not, and hence we just had to buy it.
I always say that going to the show you have to have a goal. So setting goal that night meant opening that bottle to those goals…
Guess what, almost all the cats we brought in had wins!
Dasha’s Peaches and Cream got two finals from Connie Brooks…

Peaches is seal bi-color tortie kitten and I tell you, to win being tortie, you have to be double good!

And Milo, who is only 9 month old, got 6 finals in various rings – WOW! He was competing with best and second best Ragdoll alters and we are very proud of him! Way to go, Milo, granding and double-granding in his second show as adult!

Our Purrminator also had 2 finals in the kitten rings, given by Melissa Parsley…
It was a nice show and we can not wait until Portland show in January. See http://www.tncc.org/

I was calling and calling my husband to lunch, and he would not show up and than … he shows up with this picture… Apparently he spent half an hour taking pictures of kittens trying to fit into the bed!
Tuck and Rumble gave us 8 kittens, and as good momma a Tuck is, she nursed them all and we only needed occasionally give some food to little girl. We never had 8 kittens at the same time in one litter, so that was the challenge for the family. They remind me of hurricane coming thru the room. Interestingly enough, since momma is very calm and affectionate, they ALL want love at the same time. So how many kittens can your lap fit???
They finally moved into the biggest room in the house, our TV room. I thought they will be scared, but nope, all of them were simply excited to have more space to do their mischief. They only took about 10 min to figure out the cat tree goes all the way to the ceiling and the boss is the one who sits in the top basket on that tree!
So off to clean for me and send pictures to their future owners. This Christmas is promising to be lotta fun for our family! Have a nice turkey dinner, all!

Today Dasha and I went to visit our vet… and had chance to talk to Jan, our vet’s assistant, who actually assists on all the surgeries for our kitties, and Jan is the proud owner of Baxter, Ana’s and Rio’s son. He is a huge boy which is only 7 month old… he is over 8 pounds already. Very long and seems like he is starting to grow into that length…
Anyways, apparently Shaugnessy veterinary hospital, see http://coolvet.com/, had photo with Santa already and of course Baxter could not miss it! What a nice boy!
How often do we wake up here in Coquitlam and the sun is shining in the window! WOW!
OK, as a picture for today’s post in the blog I picked this little female kitty out of Roxy and Rio which is totally small and tiny. She has character though, she was supplemented since birth as her big brothers would not let her have enough, so she deserves to be on the top of the post just because she is such a little fighter! Those tiny kittens make it into our hearts and stay there forever, and she is special just because it was first time in our experience we had to supplement one kitty out of the litter full time for over a month! She is eating on her own now though and doing just fine…
O, well, I just spent the whole morning taking pictures of kitties… Really, how many times in my life I will have a litter of 8 kittens which are so entertaining that action of taking pictures takes over 2 hours! Add a litter of those who are almost ready to go, and Roxy’s 4 kittens, and you get it – I am tired but happy!
Next weekend I am at the show in Puyallup, WA and I am taking 3 Ragdolls to it! WOW, I guess starting Tuesday I will be washing cats – one per day, and than drying them… So do not get upset if I can not pick up the phone!
